  • Stars are formed in giant clouds of dust and gas, and progress through their normal life as balls of gas heated by thermonuclear reactions in their cores.

  • Depending on their mass, they reach the end of their evolution as a white dwarf, neutron star or black hole
  • Stage 1 - Massive stars evolve in a simlar way to a small stars until it reaces its main sequence stage (see small stars, stages 1-4).

  • The stars shine steadily until the hydrogen has fused to form helium ( it takes billions of years in a small star, but only millions in a massive star).

Stars are born, grow up, and eventually die. The exact way that stars change as they age (or how they evolve) depends on how massive they are at birth. Stars are born when large gas clouds collapse under gravity.

  • They form hot cores that gather more and more gas and dust until a protostar is formed

Topic :Evolution of star

Star has He -rich core and a thin she'll surrounding the core

The shell is made up of the moisture of Helium gas

Reduced energy of helium gas leads to contraction of the core because of the gravity

core contraction to the contraction of the core

The outermost layers of the star expand greatly because of the increased size of the H-burning

Through out the milky way galaxy they were more than 1000 trillion stars

These are formed through the nuclear fusion which is not available in the earth it is the natural process

Extra information

» Supergaint star is Antares

» Astronomers have identified some 100 young stars in the 2-5 light years wide

» Found in the Hubble space telescope

" Star light, star bright, first star I see tonight " is trillions of miles away

Astronomical basic questions :

»Biggest star :VY canis majoris

» Biggest star from the exponent planets VY Sputnik
