1.

Life in a big city is mostly fast paced. There is a lot of competition all around. Everyone wants to do better than the other and they keep struggling day and night to further their aim.

A sense of competition is ingested in children from a very young age. Every parent wants his child to stay ahead of the competition. Schools in big cities do not just focus on studies but also on other activities. They boast of good infrastructure and highly-learned faculties to prepare the students for the life ahead.

Big cities also offer good job opportunities. Someone with good educational qualification can acquire a well paying job in a big city. The opportunities are endless if one is really aiming to work. Similarly, big cities have all the modern amities needed for a comfortable living. However, earning a comfortable life equipped with all the modern day facilities can actually be quite stressful.

While the city life can render comfort it does not guarantee peace. Several people relocate from villages to big cities in order to make a better living. While many of them are able to earn good and enhance their lifestyle they end up losing their peace of mind in the mad rush of the big cities.

2.Sport is a physical activity that tests our athletic abilities. It’s kind of a physical exercise in which we compete with the opponent/s solely for the purpose of entertainment. Basket ball, foot ball, cricket, volley ball, hockey are some of the most well known sports. Sports have many physical and psychological advantages on the participants as well as the viewers. They result in a better physical stamina and improved reflexes along with other advantages

Life in a big city is full of fun and frolic, full of hazards and full of dullness too. For many it is rather a hell. The people living on the sea beaches in Mumbai and Chennai in the palacious buildings in Anna Salai or in the posh South Delhi are enjoy all the facilities as they are rich. They have their own means of transport. The bungalows or the palacious flats have all the facilities of electric appliances, computerized systems, and latest gadgets for the housewife and electronic toys for the children. They control big industries and business houses. They have the satisfaction of controlling the fate of thousands of people working in their establishments. Of course they are big producers too and can be proud of increasing the national wealth. They are close to political leaders. They can influence them

2.

The value of sports and games is today recognized by all educationists. Books develop our mind but games develop our body. Games, if properly played, not only makes our body stout and muscular but also fill our body with strength and vigor. Games also provide freshness to our mind and imbibe in us many qualities. Games inculcate in us sportsman's spirit, honesty, punctuality, regularity, team spirit, leadership and obedience.

A true sportsman is never sorry and sad for his defeat. He plays game for game's sake and not for winning always. Each game is played under certain rules, to be obeyed by all the players. Above all, games teach us how to command and how to obey.
