Hey mate here's the answer..
Cartesian Sign Convention: In the case of spherical mirror all signs are taken from Pole of the spherical mirror, which is often called origin or origin point. ... Sign is taken as – (negative) from pole of a spherical mirror towards object along the principal axis.

✔️Here is your answer ✔️
_______________________________________________

We follow Cartesian sign convention for spherical mirror.
The conventions are as follows-

✨The object is always placed to the left of the mirror. This implies that the light from the object falls on the mirror from left-hand side.✨

✨All distances parallel to the principle axis are measured from the pole of the mirror.✨

✨The principle axis of the mirror is taken as x-axis (X'X) of the co-ordinate system. All the distance measured to the right of origin are taken as positive while those measured to the left are taken as negative.✨

✨ Height or distance measured above and perpendicular to the principle axis are taken as positive.✨

✨Height or distance measured below and perpendicular to the principle axis are taken as negative.✨

⭐Hope it helps you⭐
❤️ Thank you❤️
