Answer:

a) De Broglie Waves:

  1. De Broglie Waves are associated with moving particle.
  2. Wavelength is depend on the mass of the particle and its velocity.
  3. These waves can travel with the velocity greater than the velocity of light.
  4. De Broglie Waves are not electromagnetic waves.

b) Electromagnetic waves:

  1. Oscillating charged particles give rise to Electromagnetic waves.
  2. Wavelength depends on the energy of photons.
  3. These waves travel with velocity of light.
  4. Electric field and magnetic field oscillate perpendicular to each other.

Hope it helps you.

Answer:

Matter wave is represented by de-Broglie relation(particle-wave duality),

-EM wave is represented by Maxwell's equations(electromagnetic form of energy),

-Schrodinger's equation wave is interpreted by Born as its absolute square represents probability of finding the system in some region of space

Thus we have THREE different kinds of waves...

Particle is not wave and wave is not particle, but they both have some common characteristics like wave behavior of particle and particle behavior of of photon.

Schrodinger equation solution gives probability of finding particle of atomic system in some space with specific energy.
