1) Isomer of N-BUTANE

Isomer of n-butane is ISO - BUTANE which has same molecular formula but different structural representation.

n-butane has the isomer iso-butane which is a branched carbon chain and can also be called as 2-methylpropane according to the rules of nomenclature.

The molecular formula of Iso-Butane is as follows :-

c_4h_{10}

The structure of the hydrocarbon is in the attachment.

2)Vinegar

vinegar is also called as Acetic Acid or the IUPAC name of vinegar is ethanoic acid.
Ethanoic acid belongs to the functional group of carboxylic acid.

There are in all 2 Carbon atoms, 4 hydrogen atoms and 2 oxygen atoms.
This hydrocarbon also possess a double bond with one oxygen atom.

The functional group of carboxylic acid provides vinegar an acidic effect that is Vinegar is having acidic properties due to the presence of functional group of carboxylic acid.

The formula is as follows

ch_{3}cooh

3) 2- Propanol

2 Propanol has the functional group of alcohol attached with the second carbon atom in the three carbon atom long chain.

Functional group of alcohol provides propanol and alcoholic effect.

The formula is as follows :-

c_3h_{7}oh

4) Ethanal

ethanal is the hydrocarbon which is having the functional group of aldehyde attached with it.
It possesses a double bond with one oxygen atom.

The formula is as follows :-

c_2h_{4}o

5) Acetone

Acetone is the common name of the hydrocarbon propanone.
Acetone is having the functional group of Ketone attached with it.
So, the three carbon atom long chain possesses a double bond with oxygen attached to the carbon atom that is in the second place.

The formula is as follows :-

c_3h_{6}o

6) Diethyl Ether

diethyl Ether possesses is the functional group of ether which has one oxygen atom in the centre attached to carbon atoms on its both sides.

The normal rule of nomenclature of Ether functional group is :-

alkoxy \: alkanes

So,
The IUPAC name of diethyl ether will be ETHOXY ETHANE.

The formula is as follows :-

c_4h_{10}o

Thanks!
