Guru Purnima is a festival which is dedicated to our gurus. A guru not only teaches and gives us the knowledge but also shows the right path to lead our life. He is the person who helps us to enlighten ourselves and guides to lead a prosperous life.

As per Hindu calendar, Guru Purnima festival is celebrated on the full moon day i.e. the ‘Purnima’ of the ‘Aashaadha’ month. As per the Gregorian calendar it occurs in the month of July-August every year.
