Given: Money earned by Elsa for 17 hours of work = $374

To find: Monet she would make for 7 hours of work if rate is same

Solution: Given that,

Elsa made $ 374 for 17 hours of work.

Using unitary method, we can find her earning of 1 hour.

∴ Money made by her in 1 hour = \frac{374}{17} = $22

Now, given that the rate is same. So, she can make 7 times of her 1 hour earning by working for 7 hours.

∵ Money she would make in 7 hours = 22 × 7 = $154

Hence, at the same rate, Elsa can make $154 for 7 hours of work.
