15cm candle burns 6 hrs

So, 1 cm candle burns 6/15 hrs

Similarly, 45 cm long candle will burn

(6 \div 15) \times 45 \\  = 18 \: hrs

Given,

If Elton makes 15 cm long candle which

burn in 6 hours.

So ,

We can write -: 15 cm = 6 hrs

To find ,

If Elton makes 45 cm long candler how

much time it will take to burn ?? Or x hrs

So ,

45 cm = x

Then,

15 cm = 6 hrs

45 cm = x

15 /45 = 6/x

15 x = 45 x 6

X= 45 x 6 / 15

X= 3 x 6

X= 18

Therefore ,

45 cm = 18 hrs

Then ,

The 45 cm long candle take 18 hrs to
