If a criminal case is discussed in the lower court but one of the parties doesn't agree with the decision then he has the right to move to the higher court. This is called appellate jurisdiction.

If a caseis not solved or the person who reported the case cqnnot satisfied with result of lower court then the person moves to higher court r if the case is not solved by lower court then it is moved to higher court.
