Elucidate the position of women in India. How do the women's movement lead to the upliftment of their position?

In older days, women can't able to come out of the kitchen.

Their main responsibility is towards family.

But nowadays there are so many women movements are there for their upliftment in the society.

Even government is allotting 33% of women Quota in every sector.

The important movements are Bharat Mahila Parishad (1904), Bharat Stri Mahamandal (1909), Women's Indian Association (1917), National Council of Women in India (1925),

All India Women's Conference (1927) and Kasturba Gandhi National Memorial Trust.
