The main role of chloroplast is to conduct photosynthesis.

Chloroplasts are specialised organelles characterised by their high concentration of chlorophyll. They convert light energy into chemical energy by photosynthesis.

The main role of Chloroplast is to conduct photosynthesis, chloroplast works to convert the light energy of the sun into sugar that can be used by cells . The entire process is called photosynthesis . It depends on the little green chlorophyll molecule present in the chloroplast .
Hope it helps
