Dear James,
I hope you and your family are well. It's been long since we met and I got very excited when I received your email stating your arrival in New York tomorrow. However, I am so sorry to tell you that I will not be able to see you tomorrow.
Although, I have asked one of my friend to receive you from the airport and to drop you at my apartment where you can stay comfortably. Indeed, It is quite unfortunate that I will not be able to greet you personally as my boss has ordered me to go to Chicago today evening in order to attend a important meeting. Though, I cant apologize enough, but, I hope you will understand my situation.
Also, I would like you to tell me if you are free this weekend as I was wondering if I can visit New Jersey to meet you and spend a great time with you. We both will sit together and share a lot of secrets that can't shared with any one else in this entire world. You are truly special for me.
