Emasculation is not required in unisexual flowers during hybridization.

For example, maize, watermelon, etc. hybridization is process of selective breeding.

Therefore, in this case, anthers need to be removed from that of the bisexual flower before they release pollen grains.

This removal process of anther with the help of forceps is known as emasculation which is not necessary in unisexual flowers.
