Internal resistance of the battery will be 2.5 ohm and lost voltage will be 0.4 volt

Explanation:

We have given emf of the electric cell E = 2 volt

External resistance R = 10 ohm '

Potential difference across 10 ohm resistance = 1.6 volt

So current in the circuit i=\frac{potential\ difference}{resistance}=\frac{1.6}{10}=0.16A

Now we know that V=E-ir, here r is internal resistance

So 1.6=2-0.16\times r

r=2.5ohm

So internal resistance of the battery will be 2.5 ohm

Lost voltage will be 2-1.6 = 0.4 volt
