Emma compared 4/6 and 2/5 by first comparing each fraction to 1/2. Step 1: 4/6 is greater than 1/2. Step 2: 2/5 is greater than 1/2. Step 3: So, 4/6 > 2/5 In which step did Emma make her first mistake?

Emma did not make a mistake

Because 4/6 is equal to 0.6

2/5 is equal to 0.4

0.6 is greater than 0.4, so she's correct
