\Huge{\underline{\underline{\rm Emphysema \colon}}}

  • Emphysema is a Pulmonary Disease

  • A person affilicted with emphysema would face uneasiness in breathing and pain in the lungs while breathing

  • It affects the alveoli sacs, eventually leading to the rupturing of alveolar walls

  • Rupture in the walls creates holes in the sac which make it difficult for breathing

  • Smoking remains the most common cause of the disease

  • Inhaling irritants can also cause emphysema. Mine workers are more prone to this disease than a common man
