Cytoplasm ....
Cytoplasm is a semi-liquid substance .It occupies most part of the cell within the cell membrane.Under the compound microscope, it appears to be colourless,partly transparent and somewhat watery.
It's functions are-
1)Different organelles present in it perform different functions.
2)All metabolic activities occur inside the cytoplasm.
3)Seat of earlier steps of respiration (production of pyruvic acid)
