Answer:

co prime - two numbers thats have only 1 as a common factor are known as co prime numbers.

eg 35 = 5 × 7 × 1

18 = 6 ×3 ×1

so numbers 35 and 18 have only 1 as common factor so they are called co primes

your question's answer ..

pair 3

which is 15 and 22 are co prime

15 = 5 × 3 × 1

22 = 11 × 2 ×1

as both have only 1 as a common factor

you can eliminate the other pair by this same process

hope it help

  • ✪Here, We have the concept of co-prime numbers.

So, first let's know about co-prime numbers:-

  • Two Numbers which have only 1 as factor are called co-prime Numbers.

How To Find Co-prime Numbers:-

  • First write the factors of the given number. Then Choose the factors which are common in them. If they have only one as common factor Then the the pair of numbers will be co-prime.

According To Question,

  • We Have Given Some Numbers we have to recognise the pair of co-prime numbers.

(i) \: 12 \: ,18 \\

 \sf \: Factors \: Of \: 12 = 1,2,3,4,6,12 \\  \sf \: factors \: of \: 18 = 1,2,3,6,9,18 \\  \sf \: Common \: Factors = 1,2,3

  • 12 and 18 have three common factors.

Hence, 12 and 18 are not co-prime Numbers.

(ii)3,15 \\  \sf \:Factor \: of \: 3 = 1,3 \\   \sf\: Factor \: of \: 15 = 1,3,5,15   \\  \sf \: Common \: Factor = 1,3

  • 3 and 15 have two common factors.

Hence , 3 and 15 are not co-prime numbers.

(iii) \: 15,22 \\  \sf \: Factor \: Of \: 15 = 1,3,5,15

 \sf \: Factor \: Of \: 22 = 1,2,11,22 \\  \sf \:Common \: Factor = 1

  • 15 and 22 have only 1 as common factor .

Hence,15 and 22 are Co-prime numbers. ✅

(iv)10,20 \\  \sf \: Factor \: Of \: 10 = 1,2,5,10 \\  \sf \: Factor \: Of \: 20 = 1,2,4,5,10,20

 \sf \: Common \: Factors  =1,2,4,5,10

  • 10 and 20 have 5 common factors.

Hence, 10 and 20 are not co-prime numbers.

All Done! :D
