Energy can neither be created nor be destroyed, but these are interconvertible in nature.

This interconversion of energy takes place in the following processes:

Burning of Cracker:

  • The initial energy stored in cracker is Chemical energy.

  • The final energy is thermal , light and sound energy.

  • So, chemical energy stored in the cracker is converted to thermal energy, light energy and sound energy.

In a TV:

  • The initial input of energy in a television is electrical energy.

  • The output energy from a television is light energy.

  • So, interconversion takes from electrical energy to light energy.
