The energy difference b/w r.s are generally experimental values . You Have to follow sets of rules to identify which r.s structure have more energy .

Firstly , higher the energy less stable is the r.s .( Keep this in mind )

1. Stability : anti aromatic < non-aromatic < aromatic .

2. The more the distance b/w   charge , the lesser stable r.s is.

3. -ve change on more electro-negative atom , more stable it is and vice-    versa.

4. Neutral R.S are more stable.

5. R.S having more no. of atoms with complete octate are more stable.

6. R.S with same charge adjacent to it are least stable.
