capacitance c=50 uF = 50×10^-6 F

potential Difference, V=1000 V

the energy stored in the capacitor E=C× V × V/2=50×10^-6×1000×1000/2

=50/2

=25j

hope this helps you

Answer:

energy stored in capaior U=1/2C*V^2

C=50muef

C=50*10^-6f

V=200 v

U=50*10^-6*(200)^2/2

U=5*4*10^-5*10^4/2

U=5*2**10^-1

U=10*10^-1

U=1 joule..
