Answer:There are number of projects started by government of India for environment protection. Some of them are:-
Explanation: 1.Project Tiger- It's a project which was launched during the tenure of Indira Gandhi for the protection of Tigers. It's main objective was to save the tiger and provide a proper tiger reserve to the tigers of India.
2. Project snow leopard- This project was launched in 2009. It was launched to safeguard and conserve India's unique heritage's that lives in high altitude area. It is an initiative to strengthen wildlife conservation in the Himalayan regions. A frame work has been developed for Wildlife conservation outside protected areas and promote development which is ecological responsible.
(1). Project Tiger.
The project of conserving tiger was started in 1973 by the Government of PM Indira Gandhi. The aim of this project was to foster the reserve area of tiger.
(2). The forest act was passed in which the threatening of biodiversity was stop in which the loss of habitat suffered due to deforestation.
(3). Elephant Project
It made the elephant to enjoy absolute happiness in Uttar Pradesh since 1879.
