Get Aside! Here Come The Indian Girls
In the recently concluded Rio Olympics, Indian women saved the face of the nation by winning two medals for the country. The world might see the clouds of inefficiency or inability looming threateningly over India, but I see the silver lining. I can clearly see Indian girls in the vanguard, leading in every sphere in the days to come.
The entire nation was wonder struck at the feats of Kalpana Chawla, the famous American-Indian astronaut. She left a deeper mark on the minds of Indian youth, especially the girls when she died in the Columbia Space Shuttle accident. The Indians were amazed at her talent. So they realized, Indian girls could do wonders, provided conducive environment be given to them.
Since then girls' education has been given much importance to.
There is no denying the fact that Indian girls can make a mark not only in space exploration, but in all the other fields too. However, to encourage girls in space exploration and other spheres of science, the government must formulate a new policy that ensures girls' inclusion in ISRO space missions and other scientific projects. ISRO is fast emerging as a very efficient organization, which has carried out many successful space exploration missions, and satellite launches. Girls must be included in such programmes. Indian girls just need opportunities to show the world how immensely capable they are. They must pursue scientific subjects with more dedication. The country and the world need many more solutions to ever increasing problems of pollution, population, alternative sources of energy; and they must explore the hitherto unexplored realms of science and work on breakthrough solutions to the problems. I have unflinching faith in their potential, creativity, and power. After all they have already proved their mettle and worth. We can expect higher achievements from them!
