wes sed and grumpy
slost my marble jar
at was a precious jewel
Among friends it made me a star.
eftit unattended on the garden bench
While had all the fun in the rainy drench
It quickly tumed in a flood of wrench
As no ar of marples was there on the bench.
looked all over put nothing could I find
My friends be ped, but at lest I was left behind.
I went home with a heavy heart
wum was waning with pies and tart
She found about my loss and ache
Come noney, here's your favourite cake.
I was uninterested and full of regret
For my beautiful marbles so hard to get
Wish I hadn't left them to play and go wet
Mommy brought me close
And lifted up her brows
Honey, it's just a marble jar
A grown up boy is what you are
I know you loved it, there's more to life
Let's start afresh, and let go the strife
Two sides of a coin are loss and gain,
You did lose your jer but enjoyed the rain
tu give you an empty jar you can collect them again
Mommy kissed my forehead and hugged me tight
There sa knock on the door as I was out of my plight
As she brings it in l couldn't believe my sight
My friend got the jar back with the happy ray of dusk's light
