When Hardy left for Lyonnesse, he was shaky. He had a fear that he might fail to do his job there. But nobody could foresee the future. But When he returned, he had glow of joy and satisfaction on his face.

When the poet told about his feelings before he left for lyonnesse and after he returned from there that when the poet left for the Lyonnesse he was shaky he fears very much that can he do his work.

But when he returned from there he told about his feelings that something is happened with him which changes him very much, the poet says at the start of the journey no one could think of such a change in him. It was an inner change it was sudden and unexpected.
