1. The age group of the speaker in the poem vocation could be around 5 to 13 and the speaker is a kid who goes to school.

2. The speaker is a child. The speaker meets a hawker,a gardener and a watchman. They are doing their job- Hawker is selling bangles, Gardener is planting plants and watchman is walking in the streets.

The difference between the speaker and hawker is that the speaker is a child and the hawker is a adult.

Another difference is that the hawker can earn by himself by doing any work but the speaker cannot because he is a small child .
