Dear Sir,
Last month I got an inverter (a device for converting direct current into alternating current by mechanical/electronic means) installed at my house through your concern. But now to my dismay, I find that the inverter doesn’t work at all. The local electrician who examined it at my request says that the set has some technical defect. While delivering the set you had assured me of its trouble-free working but the real thing has belied all your assurances. All the electrical appliances at my place are made to work on alternating current while the govt. electrical supplies give us direct current. Without a good working inverter, it is impossible for us to go on even for a day. So I request you to replace your set immediately under the terms and conditions of the deal. I hope you would appreciate my problem and affect the replacement at your earliest.
