Science plays a very important part in our life and can be a friend and for according to the manner in which it is used. Science tries to explain the principles behind natural phenomena.
Science and it's invention over the centuries made life easier and enjoyable. Science and it's application has proved to be blessing in more ways than one. We have raped the awards in science in almost all fields of life.
Medicines has made great strides and today we can hope for a longer and healthier life.
Science has been used very effectively to improve the agricultural production. Fertilizers, insectisides and pesticides and different methods of irrigation are all the blessings of science.
In the field of entertainment, science has made rapid progression. First we had silent movies, then came in black and white. About three decades ago our movies became colourful. Now these movies have reached our drawing rooms, etc. thanks to the T.V., video and cable networks. Today we can see a cricket, football match, kabadii etc. anywhere in the world. We see the important events in different countries flashed on our T.V. screens. All this has increased our knowledge and awareness among the world.
Science, thus in it's search for knowledge has made a very useful contribution to our world. Knowledge can never be harmful by itself. It is a man who misuse this knowledge and brings havoc and destruction on himself. Scientists sacrifice years if their life finding new things for the benefit of mankind. But these are all often misused. The bullets and bombs have been invented and these have been used in past and present for destruction.
Thus, science if it is misused can easily be a curse and for to man. On the another hand, if it is used for constructive purposes, it is an indispensable blessing and a friend of man.

Today's age is the age of Science. Science has influenced our life to a greater extent. Man has explored the oceans, conquered the high mountains, stepped on the moon and is even trying to set foot on other planets too. Science has given us sophisticated instruments for research in every field. Every aspect of our life is governed by science.
New factories and companies are being established for manufacturing. Man made various discoveries for his benefit and welfare. Invention of cars, scooters and aeroplanes have reduced traveling time to few hours. The telephones have made it possible to communicate with each other and anywhere across the country. The radios, telivisions, tape recorders etc were invented to provide the people entertainment. Even the invention of electricity has changed our lives completely.
Electric gases, washing machines, health promoting instruments, grinding machines, sewing etc has been invented only to make our life comfortable and easy. In toto, Science has helped us to save our time and money. It has helped us to fight against deadly diseases.
But, At last, How to use this blessing is totally in the hands of man. If he uses it properly, it is a blessing otherwise it's a curse.
