Grandson: Dear Grandfather, there is so much of news about CHANDRAYAAN-2 all around. What is it?
Grandfather: Grandson, CHANDRAYAAN-2 is India’s special space mission. ISRO is going to land Vikram, the lander on the surface of the moon. Then a rover, named Pragyan will explore the surface of the moon and do certain experiments and send a very rare data to the ISRO control room.
Grandson: Wow! Is India the first country to do this?
Grandfather: No grandson! India is going to be the fourth country. USA, Russia, China have already landed their rovers successfully on moon.
Grandson: How long is it going to stay there?
Grandfather: Grandson, it has been programmed to experiment there for 15 days. However, it may also live longer.
Grandson: When is it going to land? I am so excited about it!
Grandfather: It is going to land on September 7, 2019 after midnight. ISRO will telecast its landing I am going to watch it.
Grandson: I will watch it too.
