Following is the essay on " food, hunger, storage, "

Every once a while people around the world tend to realize how our world is depleting and there are so many others out there who die from hunger.

Indeed in this world with unlimited demands and limited resources the result is as expected. However, there are many ways to avoid shortage of food and hunger to help get rid of starvation and reach to a positive way of storing foods.

It is the thinking and initiative which matters that could help lead to a prosperous world.

One such example may be taken from the story of" The ant and the cricket". In this story the ant works like a diligent worker and the cricket tend to rest away. When winter arrives the ant has already stored enough food to last while the cricket is left behind with no food for he was too lazy and negligent to understand the importance of storage.

This story indicates how it is important to prepare for problems before they arise and how by storing foods in proper ways the future would be better.

Similarly the problem of food shortage in our world depends on the large amounts of food getting wasted at the hand of negligent people.

Answer:

Explanation:

In the poem ‘The Ant and The Cricket’, it was shown how the poor cricket suffered from the lack of food during winter, as he did not care to store food for future during the warmer climate.

On the other hand, the ant did not have any food problem, as it stored enough foods for lasting the whole winter. This poem inspires us to store food for future use, by avoiding all kinds of wastage of food materials.

If everyone restrains from throwing away excess food and rather store or give it to the needier people, then there will be much lesser number of hungry people in the world.
