✔The term heredity may be defined as the transmission of genetically based characteristics from parents to offspring... or...... the genetic constitution of an individual.

like we can say...

✔cat produces cats not dogs..

✔curd bacteria undergo hundred of generation each day and continue same type of bacteria and not of any other bavteria.

✔human produces humans not apes... exception few xD.....

Hope it helps

\underline\bold{Heridity}
Heridity is defined as the transmission of the parental characters from the parents to the offspring.
✨The genes ,present on the chromosomes are the basic unit of heredity
✨Heridity means the transmission of parental characters only... But not the transmission of aquired characters
✨Means if a parent is suffering from colour blindness it can be possible that the offspring produce will have the same disease

But it can't be possible that a person who is doctor or perfect in any field will have a offsprings similar to him/her which are perfect in that particular field

✌✌THANKS ✌✌
