A process can be of different state depending on whether it is waiting, processing or executed. It is known as the status of the process or state of the process. There are various states for a process one such state is the ready state.

Ready State:

Ready state is when the process is Ready but is in waiting for the execution process of CPU. It simply means the process will wait for the response of the processor to execute. Only one process at a time can be executed by the processor.

There are four different attributes (values) for the ready state,

• 0- Connecting - waiting for the connection.
• 1- Open - When the connection is established
• 2- Closing - closing handshake
• 3- Closed - The connection is terminated.
