enlist the various program related to SSA. How these programs can help in harmonization of Right to Education Act, 2009 and SSA

Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan was started in 2001 with an intention of achieving the goal of “Universalisation of Elementary Education (UEEE)”. It is based on “time-bound integrated approach” and their aim is to give education to all the children who are in the age group of 6-14 by 2010, which is the vision of Right to Education Act in 2009.
It is helped by both the central and the state governments. In order to help this, a mission named “National Sarva Shiksh Abiyan is being established with the Prime Minister being the Chairperson” for this. SSA has various strategies and components which go hand in hand with RTE Act. Example, Education of girls “NPEGEL, Kasturba Gandhi Programme”, Education of community as a whole in order to bridge the gender gaps etc. Some of its components are “holistic education, teacher training, provision of teaching materials, integrated education of the disabled and distance education.”
