Explanation:

(a) Mitochondria – Mitochondria are small, rod-shaped, spherical cell organelles found in large numbers. Each mitochondria is bounded by two membranes – an outer membrane and an inner membrane that is folded to form finger-like structures called cristae.

(b) Rough E. R – Rough E. R is a network of tube-like surface structure found through out the cytoplasm. It's outer surface is rough due to presence of ribosomes on it.

Answer:

(a) Mitochondria

1. They have 2 membranes, outer one is porous and inner one is deeply folded . These folds increase the surface area for ATP synthesis related activities.

2. They have their own DNA and ribosomes which helps them make their own proteins.

(b) Rough ER

1. They have ribosomes which helps in the synthesis of proteins.

2.  The digestive juices in lysozomes are produced by ER
