simple tissue helps in mechanical strength, storage, to float in case of aquatic plants. complex tissues help in transportation in plants
simple tissue are found at edge of vascular bundles and complex tissues are at middle.
simple tissue ex- parenchyma, collenchyma, sclerenchyma.
complex tissues are xylem and phloem.
