The reaction in which two nuclei of light atoms like hydrogen combine to form a heavy and more stable nucleus like helium with the liberation of a large amount of energy is called nuclear reaction. Due to high pressure and temperature nuclear reaction is successful hence enormous energy is released in nuclear reaction.
