given that, raum bought 28 articles and sold them at a profit equal to the selling price of 6 articles..

So,

» Profit = SP of 6 article.

we know that,

→ SP - CP = Profit.

So,

→ SP of 28 article - CP of 28 article = SP of 6 article.

→ SP of 28 article - SP of 6 article = CP of 28 article

→ SP of 22 article = CP of 28 article.

→ SP of 22 article = Rs.1540

→ SP of 1 article = (1540/22) = Rs.70 .

Therefore,

→ In Rs.840 she sells article = (840/70) = 12 articles (Ans.)

Hence she sells 12 articles for INR 840.
