Answer:

The ethical norms for a teacher are truthfulness, fairness, dignity and responsibility and freedom.

The ethical norms for a doctor are non-maleficence, beneficence, autonomy and justice.

Explanation:

Ethical norms for a teacher:

  • Truthfulness: One of the important values which involve learners in navigating their life and the environment. Mutual respect is the basic aspect of a teacher's work. Being honest with oneself and others.
  • Fairness: When encountering individual learners and groups and also in the work community fairness is very important. Promoting equality avoids favouritism and non-discrimination.
  • Dignity: Respect for humanity. Teachers must always respect every person regardless of gender, appearance, age, religion, origin, opinions, beliefs, and achievements.
  • Responsible and freedom: Teachers have their own values, but in their work, their responsibility is tied to their basic work and its standards such as the curriculum, and pedagogies.

Ethical norms for a doctor:

  • Non-maleficence: Doctors always have to treat the patients making them better. They cannot harm any person.
  • Beneficence: They should always look forward to doing good. They cannot be a bad doctor no matter who the patient is.
  • Autonomy: The patients should be given the freedom to choose freely if they can.
  • Justice: Doctors should ensure that every patient is treated fairly.

They should follow duty-based ethics which is also known as Deontology

Hence, teachers and doctors play a very important role in society.
