Following are the causes of the failure of the League of Nations:

1. Many Great nations were not part of League of Nations as they did not find the Treaty of Versailles as a just and fair treaty.

2. League of Nations was mainly controlled by the Britain and France and hence, many nation lost their faith in the organisation

3. The rise in power of dictators in Italy, Germany and Japan is also a major reason why the league could not flourish.
