During evaporation, the bond between the liquid molecule becomes weak due to high absorption of energy their movement becomes rapid and they are able to break the bond and go free as vapors.

The change of liquid into vapour without reaching its boiling point is called Evaporation. The kinetic energy of molecules at the surface of the liquid increases when exposed to some temperature. Due to the increased kinetic energy the molecules overcome the force of attraction between the particles of the liquid. After getting the required kinetic energy and due to decrease in the force of attraction they escape in the air in the form of vapour.
