Enumerate the changes that takes place inside during the change of states

During change of state, inter molecular arrangement changes occurs. Solid molecules are compactly arranged but when it converts to liquid state molecules become far to each other and intermolecular disctance increses, same is followed during conversion from liquid to gaseous state
