Answer:

The biggest difference between ITBR and AR is the highest controlling authority. Ministry of Defence controls the Armed Forces- the Army, Navy and Air Force where as PMFs like the BSF, ITBP etc are controlled by the Ministry of Home Affairs.

ITBP and AR:

  • The chief difference between ITBR and AR is the maximum controlling authority.
  • The ITBP is one of the five Chief Armed Police Forces of India, raised on 24 October 1962, under the Act of CRPF, in the get up of the Sino-Indian War of 1962. The ITBP was envisioned for placement along India's border with Tibet.
  • Ministry of Defense switches the Armed Forces- the Army, Navy, and Air Force whereas PMFs like the BSF, ITBP, etc. are measured by the Ministry of Home Affairs.

Hope it helped...
