hey mate here is your answer

Formal education is essentially anything that is or mimics a classroom, where a person with expected qualifications has a subject and they teach it to you. This type of learning occurs in one place (i.e. the classroom), at one time (during classtime), and with the same people surrounding you (your teacher and classmates).

Informal education is experience-based learning, where you learn something by doing it or learn at a place other than school. Learning to tie your shoes isn’t taught in a school setting but usually by your parents or peers. Museums, libraries, and after school programs also fit under this category.

hope it helps you
