at latest the most effective health scheme of government of india is Aayushman bharat which is the largest health insurance scheme in the world.it covers almost 40% population of india around 10cr family.it consist of two elements 1.national health protection scheme2. wellness centre.this is the biggest initiative in health sector.back to this GOI has launched integrated child developement service,rashtriya swasthya bima yojana,pradhanmantri jeevan jyoti bima yojana,which laid a foundation for health sector. apart from this mid day meal and swach bharat mission could be regarded as soul stones for healthy india as it insure guarantee nutrition and healthy atmosphere for the whole india.Not all the schemes are resulted to be a successfull at all but it made india from a food insecure and famines,diseases full country to a well and healthy india which can be observed in the statistics of parameters like average life span,mortality rate and no. of hospitals,primary health care,health universities and well qualified doctors.
