Answer: Epics teach us a lot of values . Some of the important values are

1. Loyalty, yes the feeling of repaying someone who helped us at our bad times. In Mahabharatha we can find this quality in Karna who never give up  supporting Duryodhana even if he is wrong because of  Duryodhana's  support to Karna when everyone was humiliating him he was the only one who supported Karna, this made him become a blind believer .But still i appreciate his loyalty, when his Grandfather came to him and asked him to join Pandavas , He denies to join his own brothers because  he was a loyal friend of Duryodhana.

2. If you expect others to do right first you need to be right. When Karna's chariot sank into the blood mire, he was trying to take it, he asked Arjuna not  to attack him because it was against the laws of war prevailing or Dharma, that a warrior is not supposed to attack another warrior when he is not ready. But then Krishna points out him saying that at times even he didn't follow the dharma, so how can he expect others to follow. In life we need to rememmber that if we are not right we are not supposed to correct others.

3. Charity

4.Accept mistakes

5. The truth always wins . In Mahabharatha we see a lot of injustice was done with Pandavas by the Kauravas but still we see that God is always with people who do right . Though Kauravas had many strong people that could defeat the Pandavas easily but still always the right one wins.
