rakesh  - p = 8450   ,   t = 3 years   ,   r = 8%      [ case  -  1 ]
rajesh   - p = 8450   ,   t = 7/2 = 3.5   ,   r = 15/2% = 7.5%      [ case - 2 ]
case - 1 :-
S.I = PTR / 100
     =   8450 . 3 . 8 / 100
     =   202800 / 100
     =   2028
case - 2
S.I = PTR /100
     = 8450 . 3.5 . 7.5 / 100
     = 8450 . 26.25 / 100
     = 221812.5 /100
     = 2218.125
subtract case - 1 from case - 2
= 2218.125 - 2028
= 189.875
therefore the difference between s.i paid by them = 189.875
