Equal volume of sodium sulphate and barium
chloride is mixed in a test tube. The chemical
formula of the solid product formed and its colour
respectively are
(1) NaCl and white (2) Baso4 and white
Baso4 and yellow (4) NaCl and colourless

● Explaination -

When sodium sulphate reacts with equal volume of barium chloride, sodium chloride and barium sulphate is formed.

Na2SO4 + BaCl2 --> 2NaCl + BaSO4

NaCl dissolves in water and is colorless. BaSO4 being insoluble precipates as white solid.

Thus,

Solid product => BaSO4

Colour of solid => White
