Equal volumes of solution with pH=4 and pH= 10 are
mixed. What is the pH of the resulting solution?

pH = 4 means [H+]=10−4[H+]=10-4 M and pH = 10 means [H+]=10−10Mor[OH−]=10−4M[H+]=10-10Mor[OH-]=10-4M.

Thus, they will exactly neutralise each other and pH of the resulting solution will be = 7 .
