A legacy of the Age of Enlightenment, the motto "Liberté, Egalité, Fraternité" first appeared during the French Revolution. Although it was often called into question, it finally established itself under the Third Republic. It was written into the 1958 Constitution and is nowadays part of the French .

"Unité, Indivisibilité de la République, Liberté, Egalité, Fraternité ou la Mort"

Colored print edited by Paul André Basset,

At the time of the French Revolution, "Liberty, Equality, Fraternity" was one of the many mottos in use. In a December 1790 speech on the organization of the National Guards, Maximilien Robespierre advocated that the words "The French People" and "Liberty, Equality, Fraternity" be written on uniforms and flags, but his proposal was rejected.

As per constitution ,we are all qual to avail all kind of rights provided. Right to education, right to avail health benifit , right to speak are our fundamental rights but in some cases it is seen that tribals get some extra benifits in availing govt jobs. It is because constitution provides them extra benifit for uplifting. Being an resident of India tribals are also bound to abide by the rules and regulations by the constitution inspite of availing extra benifit. To be an Indian and to be compelled to abide by constitution is first then whatever we are Bengali , Tamil , Tribes , Naga , Garo etc.
