Aniline reacts with Pyridine to give Phenylethanamide (CH3CO)2O. It further reacts with Bromine (Br2) in the presence of acetic acid (CH3COOH) to give Bromoacetanilide (it is the major product in the reaction). It can further react with either Hydrogen ion or Hydroxyl ion to give Bromoaniline.
